This past weekend (Th-Sun) we went on a mini vacation to Myrtle Beach. We followed my parent's lead and headed down for some fun at the beach.
We had a really good time! The day we arrived was kind of a wash due to a nasty tropical weather system. I can say it was a little unnerving to be in a high rise building right on the beach with wind gusts to 50 mph. But, we survived the wind and wet and had nice weather for the rest of our trip.
While in Myrtle Beach we went to the aquarium and walked in an underwater tube where sharks swam overhead. We also went on a couple of kiddie rides. We played mini golf, of course (my boys adore mini golf). We spent time at the beach searching for and collecting seashells. We have all of them here at the house now too! Aidan and Ramesh even went in to the endless river (Connor had no interest in going in water and it the water was too cold for Dylan). Here's some pics from our trip:
