Following in my footsteps

One of my favorite photos of myself as a child is a picture of me helping bake a cake. I'm standing on a chair holding a mixer into a bowl of batter. I think I was 2 or 3 years old.

I'm pleased that Connor is showing a lot of interest in cooking. He loves to get up and help me out. Sometimes I'm not always a fan - things just take that much longer. But, there is something fun about teaching him things in the kitchen.
