Beaming with pride

Last Wednesday we had a parent/teacher conference, received Aidan's report card AND went to an assembly where my son was presented with another award. It turned out to be a great day and Ramesh and I just beamed with pride.

Aidan's award was the "Terrific Kids" award. It reads: In recognition of efforts to be a responsible citizen and student, this certificate of merit is presented to Aidan Isaac. This is just golden. I am so proud to be raising a responsible, caring and conscientious human being.

Our parent/teacher conference went really well. Aidan is reading at a level 15/16 right now, which is the level he needs to be in order to "graduate" 1st grade. His teacher believes he will be reading 17/18 by the time he leaves 1st grade which gives him a head start into 2nd grade. His math is also very strong and she feels confident having Aidan help other kids. Like his Kindergarten teacher, she commented that he is friends with everyone in the class. His report card came that day, reiterating the things she told us in our meeting.

We couldn't be happier with Aidan's successes in school. We are so lucky to have such great boys.

Angie, We are so proud of you being so able to write, express yourself and appreciate your son's achievements. YOU'RE GREAT!! Hope this Blog can be printed or saved in hard-copy to be treasured for a long time.

It is so great to live and find that our grandson is so well recognized my his teachers and classmates. Thank God for Aidan. Just makes us want to come over there and hug Aidan and the rest of the family. Will save it for July meeting.
